 Hooray!!!🎉🎉 Finally we are done with out e-portfolio about Farm Fresh and I'm thankful to my team members who supported and helped throughout this journey. I really appreciate everyone's efforts. In a short recap about our findings about the system utilised by Farm Fresh, Farm Fresh using ERP Management Software from Syscom which is specifically designed ERP8 Farm Fresh to meet needs of the farming community and distribution industry. There are several advantages of this easy-accessible system where it is a device containing a variety of 'self service' fully integrated modules which can be combined together to form a complete system inclusive of finance, production, pack and wrap, harvesting, distribution, customer service and etc. This system can access and save data on any device with internet connection using cloud-based ERP software which is a web-based solutions. A great day with a great knowledge gained from the interview session with a member of technical support team of Farm Fresh.🔥🔥 My team has explored various knowledges from the system used by Farm Fresh. Below is the screenshots of interview session held in WhatsApp with my team and Mr Tye Khai Choong, technical support of Farm Fresh.🙌🙌

Dr. Nana was very kind-hearted and extended the due date to the 17th of January. Thank god. The progress regarding the interview. We will interview him through WhatsApp instead since they are too busy. We have scheduled it for tomorrow. Hopefully no changes!

 Today, we got a bad news. We can't do an interview face to face with the manager of the Farm Fresh as he  has a difficulty and have no time to meet us due to the work. We ask him if we can use any platform to proceed with the interview. After some discussion with the manager of Farm Fresh, he decided to do interview by WhatsApp.  According to the manager of Farm Fresh, he will answer the interview by WhatsApp as it will be more easy and convenient. So we set up the time for the interview by WhatsApp and maybe we will do google meet also as a more practical way.

I was in charge of the questions to ask the Farm Fresh representative. I decided to make a small script for everyone to ask and there might be an additional question in between to keep the conversation going as smoothly as possible and not one-sided.  Introducing ourselves.   Following Questions:  1) First and foremost, thank you so much for taking the time to talk with us. Can sir introduce yourself and your responsibility in your company? 2) Why did sir think it was a good choice to use for Farm Fresh? and what will the advantages be? 3) How does the system works? like the process. 4) In which factor does the system help the company? An example will be in the accounting industry IT software helps to record the transactions and organize the date according to the accounting period. 5) Is it possible for sir the give us the steps of the system usage from step 1 till the end? 6) Does everyone has an access to the system? If not, who are the people who have the access t...

 After our team get a well-known company which is Farm Fresh.  So, our team planned to have an interview with the management team of Farm Fresh in Kuala Nerus, Terengganu, by this week, and we are going to learn more about the system they are using for their daily operations and its effectiveness in their management and profitability. We contacts the person in charge for interview appointment . Aside from that, we prepare the questions that we are going to ask later.  We also arranged a rental car so we all could go together to the interview. Soon we will update what happened on the interview day.🙌

🎉Finally our team managed to get a well-known company which uses integrated information system for their daily business operations. Farm Fresh is a Malaysia's leading dairy product brand.🐮🥛 Through their wide range, they strive to provide quality nutrition to all Malaysians. Brothers👬 Loi Tuan Ee and Tuan Kin cofounded Farm fresh in 2007, starting out with rearing goats. After five years, with the aid from Malaysian sovereign wealth fund Khazanah Nasional, they built a dairy farm to rear cows. Tuan Ee is managing director and CEO while Tuan Kin is the plant production and operations manager. This is a short history how Farm Fresh is originated.🏭     

We had our discussion regarding the company we were going to choose. We also shared some ideas and suggestions about the interview that we were going to conduct. The discussion runs very smoothly and as planned.💙

HOW ABOUT OUR PLANNING? In this meeting, we simply presented the Critical Path Method (CPM) according to our tasks. We use the information in the CPM as our guidelines throughout the implementation period of our e-portfolio.

Yesterday, the team leader Lawanya gives a task for each of us. She told us to try find a company one person each for the task and try to contact them to have an interview session. It was quite hard and confusing at first as we still have some difficulty in understanding which company we need to select. after some discussion with team members, we manage to get some company which are Farm Fresh, Smart Technology and Good Core who have service development services.   

We are the students of Bachelor in Accounting, semester 7 (2022), at Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin Kampus Gong Badak, Kuala Terengganu, and we are presenting our blogspot as our e-portfolio for our assessment for the ACB41603 Advanced Accounting Information System (AAIS) subject that is being taught by Dr. Noor Fadzlina Mohd Fadhil on the topic "My Journey in the AAIS Subject: Exploring the use of mobile apps/an information system for a company's decision-making" for all readers. We will share our story along our journey in finding and exploring the knowledge in information systems with the great individuals for us to interview. This e-portfolio is a collection of work as evidence in an electronic format to show the process of work from time to time.
